Thoughts for the week
As Christians, we teach our children not to “love” money, but what examples are we setting? When we love money, we hate God and bring curses over ourselves and over our children (Deut 5:9).
Mat 6:24 No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
No-one chooses who, where and when they are born, but every human being is created with purpose. Your Creator is the only One who knows you better than you know yourself. How will you direct your child to their purpose?
Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
True authority can never come from being under the Law or by attempting to enforce it. If we do not grow in understanding the balance of Truth and Grace in the Spirit, we will never rule with Christ.
Gal 3:24 So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But faith coming, we are no longer under a trainer.
Many Christians attempt to justify that “we each serve God in our own way”. That only serves as a testimony that they are not filled with the Spirit of Christ. They claim that there is “no perfect church”, but God wants to make His perfect will known to us.
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
Too many Christians are waiting to be “taken to heaven”, not realizing that Christ will rule on this Earth for eternity. They live their lives in religious spirals with the delusion of being saved – never understanding the true meaning of “ruling with Christ”.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ. And He will reign forever and ever.
